A NOTE ON THE ARNETH COUNT IN UNGULATES (COW, SHEEP, HORSE)

Ethel D. Simpson 1

1 Department of Physiology, McGill University, Montreal, Canada

In the blood of the cow and horse there is found the same limited distribution of polymorphs among the various Arneth classes as was reported for the sheep. In these three ungulates the greatest number of cells are single-lobed, with fewer bilobed and trilobed forms.
