STUDIES ON THE ARNETH COUNT.—XXII. THE LIBERATION OF THE NEUTROPHILS FROM THE LEUCOGENIC CENTRES

David Robert Climenko 1

1 Department of Physiology and the Institute of Animal Genetics, Edinburgh University

An investigation was carried out in order to determine whether or not a cycle of activity and quiescence was present in the leucogenic tissues. The results were examined statistically and a search for periodicity was made. No cycle could be detected.

A portion of the expenses of this research, which was carried out during the tenure of a Carnegie Research Scholarship, was defrayed by a grant from the Earl of Moray Fund.
