RED-CELL DENSITY IN CERTAIN COMMON ANIMALS

A method for determining red-cell density is described, and results given for the cells of man, the rabbit, the ox, and the sheep. Values for the density of the plasma of the same animals and for the water content of the erythrocytes are also given.
