NEUTRALISATION OF THE ANTIFERMENTING PRINCIPLE IN SNAKE VENOMS BY ANTIVENINS

The antivenins against venoms of the cobra and black tiger snake, which protect guinea-pigs against the lethal effects of these venoms, also neutralise the inhibitory effect of the venoms on alcoholic fermentation.
